Wikipedia.org doesn't look very good on a typical 240x320 pixels Symbian phone display. Wapedia.mobi is a phone-optimised version which went online a few months ago, and now wikipedia.org itself has a mobile version.
Just like wapedia, mobile.wikipedia.org is a bare bones version of Wikipedia. The layout is optimised for small screens, and it loads much faster in mobile browsers than the normal wikipedia. But the old wapedia.mobi does it a lot better than Wikipedi's own mobile version. Wikipedia's mobile site needs to improve a lot before it can match wapedia.
