Metro with updated cities, MapNav with locally stored maps

Métro public transport navigation
Metro

Public transport navigator Métro has new data for New York, Chicago, Berlin, Prague, Hamburg, Paris, Istanbul, Seoul, and many other cities.

Métro for Symbian S60 and Symbian UIQ calculates the best route between stations, bus and tram stops, tourist attractions and other places. You can choose the fastest route, or the route with the minimum number of connections. Métro knows the routes of subways, trains, trams, buses, and ferry lines of all major cities and many smaller cities too.

Métro stores its public transport on your phone, so you can navigate the public transport routes and times without a mobile internet connection. For example, deep down in a subway station where no network signal dares to enter.

MapNav

MapNav is a free mobile Java navigation program with an amazing number of features. You can choose maps from Google Maps and other sources, and with MapNav's map creator you can download maps to your computer and transfer them to your phone to save on mobile data traffic and charges. Needless to say, the map creator is way better than Nokia's own excuse for a map loader. MapNav comes with many GPS tricks. If only it did voice navigation...
